Firehouse Review World Chicken Festival 9/26/2026

So back in 1990 I didn’t pay a lot of attention to a new band called Firehouse.

But ended up seeing them 36 years later, other than one or two songs that was all I knew. The band still has two original members : Bill Leverty – Guitar & Michael Foster – Drums; Allen McKenzie Bass since 2003 as well as Nate Peck Vocals since 2023, on a sad note original singer C. J. Snare, died in 2024 of cancer

Setlist for the show https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/firehouse/2026/town-center-london-ky-b73199e.html

And they even played two new songs https://youtu.be/S8uXjoOayCI Mighty Fine Lady & https://youtu.be/QyMqZvim3NI Midnight Gasoline

There was a very small crowd for the show, but it didn’t seem to matter to the band. They played a full show packed with their hits and two new songs . The new songs were pretty generic hard rock songs. But they were very entertaining and fun to watch. Lots of guitar solos , a drum and bass solo. The newcomer Nate vocals were good . If you don’t remember this band from the 90’s I would suggest giving them a listen. You might find you remember these guys!

And now for there biggest hit Love of a Lifetime https://youtu.be/5ETENrv8cnU
