RolnRock.com started as a podcast a few years back, then went quiet for a while. Instead of letting the domain sit, I turned it into what it probably should have been from the start: a running log of what I’m listening to, what gear is worth buying, and what’s actually worth spinning this week.
Most weeks that means a new album that earned real repeat plays, a gear teardown on whatever landed on the bench, or a note on a record that just showed up in the crate. There’s a running yearly playlist behind all of it, and no genre it has to stay inside of.
This isn’t a one-person operation, either. James Setser, a local record store owner, is also a contributing author with full freedom to post whatever’s playing on the shop deck, new arrivals, staff picks, or whatever the hell he’s thinking about right now.
So come hang out, join the community, share what you’re listening to, argue about records, talk gear, and help us build RolnRock into a place for people who simply love music.
